Our Storks at the Lake – Live Visit

For the past two years, a pair of storks has reliably returned to us here in Groß Behnitz. This spring is no different: since mid-April, the nest atop the historic granary roof has once again been occupied.

Last year, we had the joy of observing the pair raise two young storks – a wonderful sign that the animals feel at home on the grounds of the estate.

This closeness to nature is no coincidence. It is part of our philosophy and part of our responsibility.

We believe that sustainability is not just a concept, but a lifestyle – and that protecting our native wildlife is a quiet but important contribution to a livable future.
