Nauen, February 14, 2025 - Sustainability, responsibility and living values: Landgut Stober has once again been named the best “Certified Green Hotel” in Germany at the renowned “Certified Star Award 2025”. With an outstanding 4,704 out of a possible 5,000 points, the privately run hotel in Brandenburg not only came out on top in the state, but also in Germany as a whole.

The certification was carried out by Certified auditor Kerstin Pickny, Senior MICE Expert and former employee of Ernst & Young GmbH. Landgut Stober impressed with its holistic sustainability strategy, which combines ecological, social and economic aspects:

- Consistent conservation of resources, including the use of rainwater for toilet flushing
- Regional & organic food in the kitchen - sustainable, fair and full of flavor
- Sustainable construction & CO₂ avoidance through comprehensive measures
- Economy for the common good as a lived corporate principle, also currently the best audit result in Germany
