Märkish cuisine in the surrounding area of Berlin / Havelland

Märkish cuisine in the Stober estate

Finally, the Borsigs made a significant contribution to the expansion of the railway in the 19th century and became Europe's largest locomotive manufacturer. Thanks to their special expertise with iron as a material, the Berliners also worked on the fountain system in Sanssouci as well as on the domes of the Potsdam St. Nicholas Church and the Royal Palace. To this day, names such as the district of Borsigwalde or the Borsigturm in Berlin-Bismark still bear witness.

Our chef takes our guests on an exciting journey through the regional and seasonal cuisine of Brandenburg, alongside traditional, finely crafted country cuisine also on experimental things. The butter mackerel fillet baked in organic olive oil on celery leaf spinach & heather herbs with cooked couscous offers a wonderful combination “a la Bismarck”.
