Sustainable conference hotel on the water in Berlin Brandenburg
Salon Margret - 27 m2
One of our smallest salons is 27 m² and is located on the first floor of the granary. Ideal for small intimate meetings. A waxed industrial concrete floor, an open wood and glass construction with historical mechanics give the room its special atmosphere. Salon Margret is located between the Salons Lilli and Annelise.
The salon is named after Margret Schulz, née Eckert (1928-2012), daughter of Margret Eckert, née von Borsig, the eldest daughter of Ernst August Paul and Margarethe von Borsig, née Gründler. Margret was aware of her grandfather Ernst von Borsig senior. After 1933 she lived on the estate and went to school in Groß Behnitz. Margret remembered the visitors to the estate who belonged to the Kreisau Circle. After her medical work, she intensively accompanied the development and repair of the estate by Michael Stober.
