Green Meeting on the water in Berlin Brandenburg
Salon Hedwig - 19m2
Salon Hedwig is in the distillery on the ground floor right next to our old lithography workshop. The unique ambience is created with floorboards, brick walls and vaulted ceilings, as well as steel columns. On 19 square meters you can meet up to 10 people, also suitable for small work groups. Enjoy the extraordinary place full of atmosphere and spirit. It tells of decline and awakening, of entrepreneurial spirit and innovation, of technical revolution and progress, of the common good, social responsibility and resistance.
The salon is named after Hedwig Anna Margarethe von Schnitzler, née Borsig (1871-1945), sixth child of August Julius Albert and Anna Caroline Wilhelmine Amalie Borsig. Hedwig married Robert Heinrich Arthur von Schnitzler, who acquired the Klink manor in 1897, after which the Klink Castle was built. Together they had six children, including Gerhard, Ilse Marie Anna, Hildegard Beate, Cornelia & Anna Maria Hedwig. She was buried in Grabenitz, Schloss Klink (Mecklenburg-West Pomerania).
